I have been involved in design for over 18 years and have acquired experience and skills from and for a variety of organisations across different disciplines.
The 80s and early 90s
I started my career in the late eighties working in marketing and design for a software developer. Eventually this led to managing a design department for a large and well respected business consultancy in the West End. Whilst there I developed skills in corporate identity with projects covering a whole roster of briefs, both large and small.
Back to school
In order to further my design education and experience I took three years away from the industry to study graphic design further and to develop my creativity (student website). This subsequently led to attaining a first class degree, as well as being shortlisted for two prestigeous design awards (the RSA and Proctor and Stevenson student design awards).
Combined experience and education
All the above experiences have combined to enable me to forge a successful career as a freelance designer. I have acquired many clients from diverse industries, as well as working with many creative agencies such as Precedent Communications and, via an agency, for such respected organisations as SAS, LLoyd Northover, Viacom Outdoor (now CBS Outdoor) and many others
