Bytemark Hosting are a leading Linux web hosting company whose facilities are based in London’s Docklands.

The logo was designed to allow for various iterations of the companies offerings to be 'bolted-on' onto the name (in this case the word 'hosting' but could include 'dsl', or 'consultancy').

The colon at the front of the logo refers to the first character which is used when typing in a web address or command line.
