Description
Rebecca Carrington is a talented musician and comedian whose performance, with her cello Joe, has won her critical acclaim.
Initially, because of the strict budget, only one page could be created with a view to add main sections over time. The challenge was to make the site not only visually appealing (based on her existing visual collatoral) but also content rich. This content needed to include promotion of her CD, music clips, news items, links and tour dates. Since it's first outing the site has been extended with additional sections such as a gallery, press cuttings, biography as well as a German version.
Flash was used for the quotations which fade from one to another and, once again, used within the 'Listening Post' section so people could listen to her various recordings.
The site was entirely constructed using CSS and, as such, conforms to WC3 CSS and HTML validation standards.
