Membership Benefits leaflet
Promoting the range of benefits and services to members of the HCIMA was tackled in this 8-page leaflet. This was an update to one done last year but reduced in size and spread over more pages. The project was a balance of keeping detailed information readable whilst adding interest using images. The front cover adopts the style as set down in their corporate identity I created.
I have just completed this website for ethical biopharmaceutical company Hunter-Fleming who develop new medicines to treat neurological and cardiovascular disorders.
Glossary guide for Creditflux
The second of Creditflux's guides to all that this credit derivative and structured credit has been completed. The glossary follows on from the Essentials booklet design recently. To differentiate between booklets whilst maintaining a cohesive look a different colour scheme was adopted which also keeps the same main image.
Forthcoming seminars booklet
This guide, for the HCIMA's Small Business Seminars programme, provides a comprehensive overview of the seminars they run for the rest of this year. As well as seminar information, I created an area noting relevant publications as well. The visual style carry's on from the other Small Business Seminar projects undertaken.
Homepage design and build for VERTIC
A new homepage for the VERTIC website has been developed. Together with a new site-wide navigation system, the homepage conforms to XHTML 1.0 and CSS 1.0 compliance. The homepage was designed to convey VERTIC's areas of expertise as well as offer up to date news and provide the latest data on offer. An animated area, developed using Flash, helps provide some company background in a visually interesting way utilising various images from the UN and picture libraries.

This 80-page booklet, which will form part of a suite, was designed to impart important information concerning Creditflux's main area of expertise, that of credit derivatives and structured credit.
Logo for UK engineering education promotional group

Having put together their identity and previous ad campaigns I decided to shift the emphasis to something which made more of their in-depth technical knowledge, approachable attitude and openness.
The HCIMA required a newsletter to provide information and updates to their membership and regional offices. This eight page, two colour publication was designed to be informative as well as interesting. This was achieved by using a mix of images of both people and more conceptual ones to help break the monotony.
Education Membership scheme leaflet and form
As part of the HCIMA's commitment to its members, a promotional leaflet and registration form was commissioned for their Education Membership Scheme. I utilised the same image that was used in their recent brochure for the education section to help maintain thematic and visual consistency.
Logo for hospitality marketing consultancy
I have just completed a logo for an online marketing organisation who specialise in the hospitality sector. The brief required that an image of a cat was to be used, therefore, I took the idea of a silhouette and used the distinctive and rather noble profile of an Egyptian Sphynx cat. The double use of the cat was based on the idea of "behind every great product, there is a great marketeer".
series of promotional cards about their service. Happy to oblige, I created a set of ten cards drawing upon the theme of trees, forests, leaves etc to help as metaphors for the various benefits and aspects to joining.
Exhibition stand design
The HCIMA have just completed their biggest and most successful exhibition presence during the Hotelympa 2006. I was called upon to design banners and poster sites for four stands. The main presence was their Small Business Seminar stand (see below) which gave host to many speakers and resulting attendees. Feedback was extremely positive from all involved as well as the audience.
Bytemark, a leading web hosting provider, required a new set of adverts promoting their specialist services. They wanted to convey that their solutions scale as you increase your demands. The simple concept of a businessman riding an ill-fitting bike was appropriate and fitted in with their identity which I had created back in 2004.
