Geneva Declaration GeoMAP interface and layout design.
This interactive map of armed violent conflict worldwide required a makeover to be more in line with the website designed previously. Various interactive and usability problems were tackled as well as a refined design, colour and navigation.

Website and email newsletter template for the Geneva Declaration
Supported by the Swiss Government, the Geneva Declaration aims to help reduce the human, social and enconomic impacts of armed violence. The website needed to reflect not only the details about the declaration itself but who sponsors it as well as providng guidance to governements and institutions.
The design took elements from a report which was created last year as a basis for colour and structure of the site. Imagery played an important role with a variety of arresting photography used throughout.
The template covered the homepage and two levels of supporting pages.
An email newsletter was also designed taking elements of the website to keep consistency.

Quirky direction for the Institute of Hospitality's membership literature and advertising
A change of visual approach for the Institute of Hospitality resulted in this design for their membership literature and advertising. Quirky and engaging, the literature included a brochure, form and folder and uses stylistically drawn birds which were adapted to reflect the range of members of the Institute. Additionally I manipulated the birds in order to create a more dynamic relationship between them as well as using other quirky elements to keep each spread fresh.

Advert for Bytemark
As part of Bytemark's updated look undertaken recently, a new advert was developed to promote their services. Adapting the existing look and feel into their advertising required a flexible layout with elements relating to the new style.
An A4 and quarter page version was produced.

CMS Website for Digicom
My first CMS based website is now live at Digicom, a new and independent digital out of home organisation. DotNetNuke was suggested as a platform to develop for and required the purchase of a 'skin' or predefined template as well as the implementation of various bits of functionality.
I created all the necessary branded graphics as well as getting 'under the hood' and adapting the layouts to suit the needs of Digicom. Adding administrators, implementing feedback modules, blogs, Flash video, Google Analytics and tracking of downloaded files were all required as part of this project.
All this required a bit of a learning curve, but a worthwhile one as I now a basis of creating user administered sites for other prospective clients.

Leaflets and folder for Bytemark
As part of Bytemarks identity transition a number of flyers and a folder were produced. These flyers illustrate the range of services they offer and use abstract imagery on the covers for each. I felt abstract light images helped get away from typical approach many hosting companies take and gave a more sophisticated and dynamic feel. This was tempered by specific photography of the Bytemark team and network locations for their hosting.

New website for Bytemark
After a good two months development Bytemark's website is now live. Designed with a refreshed identity (see below) the site was initially coded by myself with Bytemark building their own proprietary system into each page.
In order to help prospective customers compare and contrast their rather complex pricing structure, I introduced a drop down menu system with their price table which would alter the final price dependent on hardware required and extras chosen.

First step in identity update for Bytemark
This trifold leaflet is part of the initial identity update for leading web hosting outfit, Bytemark. Adopting a new corporate typeface (Neo Tech) and an update to the framework of their covers, the new look will be made across other print media as well as a brand new website which I have designed and coded (more details when it goes live soon).

Helping improve pitch presentations
Last year I created a pitch template system for global outdoor advertiser CBS Outdoor. This template was developed to help their international offices standardise on a format when presenting their credentials and proposals to other companies.
This year I have used the template to create four pitches based on this template to some well known companies. They have gone down well with both CBS Outdoor and the target prospects with some positive feedback.
As well as the standard landscape document an additional portrait version was created for financial and technical data. CD labels were also provided which contain bookmarked PDF versions of all documents.
