Minorities conference leaflet design

This leaflet was used to promote a conference on ‘Parliaments, minorities and indiginous peoples: Effective participation in politics’.

Using a mix of supplied imagery and researched (the cover image and treatment was supplied by myself) the design sought to be simple but have a strong character. Thus an angular white area frames the main cover image and houses the text for the event. Breaking out of this is the supporting title which would normally be lost in all the text but by making the grey strip the only element to sit over the white area gives it some dynamism and won’t be overlooked.

The reverse follows a similar structure with the same angular element forming a consistent framework for copy and other imagery.
